Product Description
PMSF (Phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride) has the molecular formula of C7H7FO2S. It exerts a strong inhibitory effect on both serine proteases (e.g., trypsin, chymotrypsin, thrombin) and sulfhydryl proteases (e.g., papain), and is a commonly used protease inhibitor with an effective concentration of 0.1-1 mM. The half-life of PMSF is about 30 minutes; an additional supplement is recommended if sample processing exceeds 1 hour.

Storage Conditions
Store at -20 °C and transport at ≤0 °C. The shelf life is one year.
Precautions
PMSF is toxic. Wear lab coat, disposable gloves and face mask during operation. In case of accidental contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with large volume of water.
