RIPA (Radio Immunoprecipitation Assay) Lysis Buffer is a classic rapid lysis buffer for animal tissues/cells, exhibiting strong lytic activity on the membrane, cytoplasmic and nuclear components of animal cells. It contains various inhibitors including sodium orthovanadate, sodium fluoride, EDTA and leupeptin, which can effectively inhibit protein degradation.

Storage Conditions
Store at 4°C and transport at ≤0°C. The shelf life is one year.
Notes
- Does not contain PMSF. Additional phosphatase inhibitors required for phosphorylated protein detection.
- All steps must be performed on ice or at 4°C.
- Contains high concentration of detergents; protein concentration cannot be determined by Bradford method.
