Product Description

A large amount of endogenous protein phosphatases are released during cell or tissue lysis, which causes dephosphorylation of phosphorylated proteins in the extracts and thus affects protein detection results. Therefore, adding an appropriate amount of exogenous phosphatase inhibitors to extract samples is an effective method for protein protection.

This product is a mixture of four phosphatase inhibitors, which can inhibit four types of phosphatases including serine/threonine protein phosphatases, tyrosine protein phosphatases, and acid/alkaline phosphatases. It can be used for detecting phosphorylated proteins in Western Blot (WB) and co-immunoprecipitation experiments, as well as for the determination of phosphatase activity.
