Specifications

Product Description

This SDS-PAGE Protein Loading Buffer (5×, Odorless) is a 5-fold concentrated protein loading buffer that uses TCEP, an odorless reagent, as the reducing agent to replace traditional DTT or 2-ME. SDS can bind to proteins to form complexes with a large number of negative charges, eliminating the charge differences between different proteins. SDS can break intermolecular hydrogen bonds and destroy the secondary and tertiary structures of proteins, while TCEP can break the disulfide bonds between cysteine residues and disrupt the spatial structure of proteins.
